Currently, the Yang Dipertuan Agung is held by Sultan Ibrahim who is also the Sultan of Johor. In other words, not all royal positions are inherited in the same manner as in England and the Netherlands. In Indonesia itself, there is only one formal king, namely Sultan Hamengku Buwono X who is the King of the Yogyakarta Sultanate and also the Governor of the Special Region of Yogyakarta.
