Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are the backbone of the economy in various countries (Hansen & Bogh, 2020). MSMEs also need to be empowered in improving productivity and efficiency through artificial intelligence (AI). Unfortunately, small businesses assume that AI is only for large businesses. They hesitate to use AI. Financial capability and human capital are factors that cause this doubt.

They thought that AI was only for large companies. However, this is actually incorrect because AI is now available for all types of businesses without exception. Although many small business owners are still hesitant about AI technology, it is time to forget those doubts and focus on understanding how AI can provide positive impacts for businesses such as revenue growth on a small scale (Bandari, 2020).

A number of small businesses are afraid to use AI. This confusion is due to limited capital and resources owned by small-scale businesses. However, AI is not only for large-scale businesses, but can also provide benefits for small businesses. Many routine and repetitive tasks can easily be automated by AI technology, which will allow small business owners to focus on strategies to develop their business. Although the initial financial initiative may not be cheap, the long-term benefits far outweigh the initial costs.
