Navigating the Dimensions of ESG

Last year, the Hinrich-IMD released the Sustainable Trade Index, which assesses the achievements of 30 major trading nations in aligning with global trade systems that support long-term economic growth, environmental protection, and societal development. The index highlights the readiness and capacity of these countries to participate in sustainable trade, and for two consecutive years, New Zealand and the United Kingdom have led in achieving sustainability.

On a macro level, alongside government policies, the overall performance of the business sector significantly impacts this sustainable trade index. This underscores the importance of companies bolstering their ESG (environmental, social, and governance) initiatives.
